I exported my bookmarks to Avast Browser but many of them are missing
I exported 2 days ago my bookmarks to Avast Browser. I tried to open some of them from Avast Browser and noticed that many of them are missing, even some folders. I tried to import them back to Firefox, but the Avast Browser does not appear in the list of browsers, so I cannot do this. And I am not sure if improting them back will restore the missing ones. Is there any way to restore my old bookmarks on Mozilla. I have not backed them, I am afraid. Many thanks for your support!

Hello,
Importing your bookmarks in another browser does not delete them from the original browser. It copies them rather than moving them. Your bookmarks should still be there in Firefox.
Did you originally import them from a different browser?

Dear Matthew Thomas Thank you very much for taking time to help. My bookmarks were originally in Mozilla, I did not use other browsers. So, if they should still be in Mozilla, why I cannot see them? Bookmarks appear empty and when I try to restore history, it does not perform the action. Even the autofill of the addresses is completely gone. Many thanks for your help!
Thank you! I exited Mozilla and reloaded it. All the bookmarks are back. I am really grateful for your help. Best wishes Tez
