Has anyone reported the Spellchecker bug in Thunderbird 68.5.0 for Mac?
I'm not qualified to complete the level/type of detail needed for Bugzilla, nor do I have the time. Has anyone reported the glitch in Thunderbird 68.5.0 for Mac OSX, whereby the Spellchecker box opens when sending an email, has no visible text in any of the fields, and no longer has a 'Send' override option in it? Thunderbird worked well before; I can't understand how/why this has gone wrong. See images.

The British English dictionary v. 2.81 works fine here in TB 68.5. If you don't have that version, install it and see if the problem remains. If you still have the problem, reply here for further troubleshooting steps.

Which dictionaries, names and versions, are installed in Tools/Add-ons/Dictionaries?
Would that make a difference? The dictionary is British English, has always worked fine before for spell-checking emails on sending. Don't know what 'names and versions' means. The problem is the now-glitchy dialogue box, full of empty text, and with no 'send' button available!
