Mute Flash tabs but still be able to save
I know that 64x Firefox can mute flash content with them ctrl-M shortcut and also that 86x Firefox can store local flash data, but one can't (seem) to do the other. I currently have the 32 bit version installed and try to painstakingly find an option inside of the flash content. If anyone knows how to allow both at the same time, that would be greatly appreciated.

I'm not sure why Flash in 64-bit Firefox wouldn't be able to read/write Local Storage Objects. Is there a documented issue with that, perhaps related to Firefox's security sandboxing? You often can reduce the sandbox level to work around restrictions, but whether that is a good idea is a different question.
For muting, could you use the icon on the tab instead of a feature within the Flash content?
What Flash setting(s) are involved with muting Flash? Most websites should be using the HTML5 media player to play sounds and thus wouldn't require to mute audio in Flash.
Also make sure that you do not use Private Browsing mode or have disabled cookies because Flash local storage uses the same permission rules as cookies use. If you disallow in the Flash setting manager to store local data for some reason then you would have to revert this change.

I tried using both and many people apparently have the same problem with not being able to store flash storage on a 64x installation of Firefox.cor-el said

I am in normal browsing mode and only rarely clean my cookies and even if, I only clean the ones I'm sure that there will be no data loss. Also might I know where the setting manager is?
