some websites do not show the pictures just the place holders how can i sort this out. Nothing in prefrences to allow pictures

I have followed the advice to click on the circle type thingy in the top left of the address bar and scrolled down to preferences but there is no allow pictures button so to me it is a mystery

Hello woozlebear,

You are probably referring to this :

When you're on those sites, click on the 'i' in a circle, next to the padlock at the left side of the address bar.

Then click on the little black arrow on the dropdown and then on "More Information", which will take you to "Page Info".

Click on the 'Permissions" tab and scroll down to "Load Images". Uncheck "Use Default" and check "Allow".

Then close and restart Firefox.
