running version 56 and Quantum on the same computer

I have looked to find a way to be able to run, independently, both v56 and Quantum on the same computer. The solutions I find refer to installing, in a separate folder, a portable version which apparently no longer exists as any search for a portable version on the Mozilla website finds zero results. Can this be done some other way and, if yes, how. I am loathed to give up v56 and lose all the add-ons that I rely on and for which no decent alternatives exist in Quantum. Thx

What add-ons are you trying to use? 56 is no longer supported, nor is it safe to use, so let's find you some alternatives

I use the following:

All-in-one-sidebar colorpicker Firegestures Tab mix plus Undo close tab replacement

Tab mix plus and All-in-one-sidebar are do or die, regardless of 56 being out of date. Was unable to find any decent replacement for either. For Firegestures I could use Gesturefy which I had to try on another computer, hence the question about running both independently on the same computer.
