How to delete "OTHER BOOKMARKS"

I want to delete the other bookmarks folder . I can delete the bookmarks but they keep comming back . It contains then more than 5000 bookmarks , it takes minutes to load ! Very very annoying . Why am i not allowed to delete it ? it is compleetly useles !!!! If i make a bookmark , i need 5 minutes to find it !!

Time to use an other browser .

Hi sorry Other Bookmarks can not be deleted.

If using the star to Bookmark make sure you are not Bookmarking them into Other Bookmarks as that is the default.

There is a issue with the program or your Profile.

Let's start on the Program 1st which will not change the fact of the bookmarks. But may stop them from being added as well as you not using the Star and Default.

Please : uninstall Firefox. Then Delete the Mozilla Firefox Folders in C:\Program Files , C:\Program Files(x86) & C:\ProgramData Then restart system. Then run Windows Disk Cleanup. (Note: This should be Pinned and run Weekly, If never done below expect 10's of gig's) Then run it again and click the button that says Cleanup System Files. Note: your Firefox Profile is saved. But you should make a back up before you do :

Reinstall with Current Release Firefox 61.0.1 with a Full Version Installer

Please let us know if it keeps building and we will help you with the Profile and how to edit your Other Bookmarks if it does not get fixed.

Hi, I see your not asking for help as per my last reply to you but are making a a statement that Volunteer Support can not do anything about.

I suggest you got to 3 Bar Menu --> Help --> Submit Feedback in a constructive manor to sway the team that reviews your suggestions.

You can look at this extension:

Best is to cleanup the other bookmarks folder in chunks of 1000 bookmarks and avoids removing too many at once. You can do this in the Bookmarks Manager (Library) and art at the bottom of the list and use Shift + PageUp to select a range.
