When surfing the internet a pop up come across the screen from Firefox asking for a survey. I completed the survey and at the end it said I have won a samsung S9+ and i paid the 2.00. Is this legit or should I be concerned? this is where I was directed to after the survey. after that I got a email from this address.

No, this is a spam e-mail. You need to contact your financier and notify them that your Credit Card that you used to pay was stolen, cancel that card, reverse the charge, and then run a mwalrebytes.org scan of your computer.

This is a scam I have seen reported by some Firefox users on desktop and mobile every so often in last while.

This is 100% FAKE and was not a message from Mozilla or the Firefox web browser.

Mozilla does not do any so called surveys with claims that you have won or will receive any prizes including insert expensive prizes as the three main variations of this scam have been for a iPhone X, a $1000 gift card or a Samsung S8 or S9.

Do not give them any personal information or send them any money by any means. Variations of this sort of scam has existed for a long time, not for Firefox users but in general. Nobody is going to send you a item that is worth say $1000 for only one or two dollars.

Mozilla has done surveys over the years by way of http://qsurvey.mozilla.com which is surveygizmo.com however no prizes are given.
