How can I start Firefox in safe mode when Firefox will not start??
After yesterday's update, Firefox will not load. I have tried every suggested fix, but nothing works. When I tried to uninstall it and reinstall it, it tells me to close Firefox first. How do I do that when it won't load? The page telling me to restart in safe mode by clicking on a button doesn't work. After all, I am not using it on the Firefox browser. At this point, I just want to uninstall Firefox period. I will go back to IE. Please tell me how to stop it running so I can uninstall it.

Hi, when get a message Firefox is running. Please go to the Task Manager and look for Firefox.exe and End Task. May have to search. Should then be able to launch the installer or try the uninstaller. Suggest install with the full version Installer. Firefox will not start, will not start in Safe Mode either. https://www.mozilla.org/firefox/all/
Make a copy of your Profile so do not loose much or nothing : https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/profiles-where-firefox-stores-user-data as the Profile maybe corrupted.
If still can not uninstall try https://www.revouninstaller.com/revo_uninstaller_free_download.html though it is best to avoid 3rd part uninstallers if possible.
Please let us know if this solved your issue or if need further assistance.
