This new version of firefox is the WORST! It is constantly freezing and crashing. It is incredibly slow when it is trying to work. How do I switch back?

Constant freezing. Cannot even have it open for more than 3 minutes before the problems start. Freezing, crashing, incredibly slow. With all of the complaints, why is nothing being done? You've already lost all of my bookmarks, at this point there is not much reason for me to stay. I can go to a stronger more functional browser if Firefox is not interested in resolving the issues.

In first, only you have this problem, if you want only blame Mozilla and use another browser do it.

BUT, if you want resolve the problem you can try: 1) Start browser in safe mode 2) Backup current profile and create a new one 3) Uninstall and reinstall Firefox, a clean install fix 99% problems, but delete the old profile. 4) Check if the problem is your system (insufficient RAM, no space in hdd, CPU overload etc...)

Firefox quantum for me and much other users is perfect, fast and stable, much than chrome.

If you have a problem don't panic and try to find the cause

I am not the only one with this problem. There are complaints backing up to when they made the switch. Not all of us have a lot of tech know-how and shouldn't have to do all of the behind the scene work to make things work properly. It is a documented problem and Firefox should respond.

With Firefox Quantum the browser has been rewritten from the base, is normal if a small number of users have problem with the migration but panic and blame Mozilla is not a solution.

You tried the solutions i posted before?

For the bookmarks i think isn't lost, check the profile folder. Maybe you have created a new user after the update and for this you do not see the bookmarks in the bookmarks bar.

I cant give you much help without physical or remote access on your machine
