So sorry, I don't know what I did or didn't do that now, when I open only, a draft file - NOT "Write", it takes me to "Write". Would anyone know why and how to fix back? Thank you.

Thank you again but lucky for me I didn't have to deal with addons since I found a great solution elsewhere here, so for the benefit of others here's what they recommended:

"Open a Write window. Do you have a Menu Bar with File-Edit-View etc? If not press the alt key to make it appear. From the Menu Bar select View-Toolbars and turn the missing toolbars back on. Send is on the Composition toolbar."

I'm a happy camper now!  :)

I'd install the "Folder Flags" addon and use it to check your Drafts folder. Maybe Thunderbird has lost the setting that makes it a Drafts folder.

Drafts are normally shown as if they were incoming messages in a "read only" window, with an "Edit" button that switches you to a Write window.

Thank you Zenos, this is bad because it doesn't have any of the different menus across the top (about 3 rows of menus), including especially the SAVE button!!!

As to installing another addon.....I'm still having issues with the first addon for the autoresize which I need to send a couple of screenshots to fix yet ANOTHER little mess...  :-(

I don't see how that answers the problem you described. But if you're happy, all well and good.

You can try it and see for yourself. I'm happy now because I was accumulating my messages to be sent and....NO "SEND" BUTTON.  :o)
