Mozilla sent a new password to [email protected]. I did not receive it. My Brighthouse E-Mail uses thus address.

When I sign in to Thunderbird my password is not accepted. I changed my password from Capricorn3480 to Capricorn2692. This did not solve the problem. I ask Mozilla for a new password. Mozilla says a new password has been sent. I have not received the new password. I have an E-Mail account with Brighthouse that has the same E-Mail address as Thunderbird, so I should have received your reply on my Brighthouse account.

In the past I have received the same messages on both Brighthouse and Thunderbird. This has been helpful when one of the accounts goes down.

What do you mean by When I sign in to Thunderbird my password is not accepted. ?

There is no password for 'Thunderbird'; it is just a program running on your computer.

Do you mean you have mail accounts either pop or imap and it is asking for the password for one of your mail accounts?

re :I changed my password - well you're going to need to change that again as you have just posted the password on a public forum seen all around the world. Where did you change the password? In your webmail account?

re :. I ask Mozilla for a new password. What has mozilla got to do with it? Why would you be asking mozilla ?

You need to clearly explain what you are talking about.
