TB Deletes All Mails Once Read To One Address . . .
This happened recently -- I think after i migrated all past emails from an old PC to my new laptop (Win 10).
On my TB, I have 5 different email addresses. On one of these, I recently noticed that all old messages had been deleted. I put this down to an error on my part. But lately, immediately after I read an email sent to this address, that email just disappears. I mean disappears. Not put into Junk or Trash. Just disappears.
I have tested this process by sending an email from another of my addresses to the affected address. The email comes in, it allows me to open it. But once I close the message and select another mail folder, the message disappears.
Going on an old thread to this forum, I check to see if this email account had some config option checked to do this. But I see no such config option, let alone it being selected. This is goosing me.
I'm on TB 52.1.1 (32-bit). I tried getting a 64-bit TB but could not.

Have you perhaps set View|Folders|Unread, or set the Unread flag in the QuickFilter bar?

No - I haven't set View > Folders to Unread. Neither have I set the Unread flag in the QuickFilter bar.
I notice that in the Properties of the affected folder, the Number of Messages is listed as 143. When I write a new message to the affected email address, then read it and have it disappear and then check the Properties again, I find the Number of Messages is now 144 . . .
So the messages are being stored - but not displayed.
Just found the problem.
The View drop-down was set to Unread . . .
Humble apologies.
