Which is the best version between 32 and 64 bits on Windows 10 ?
Hi, I'd like to know which is the best version of Firefox on Windows 10 : 32 or 64 bits ? I saw on a graph (see the attached image) since the update (Firefox 54) that the 64 bits version use more memory. But does it have better performance ? The Firefox I use on my Linux is the 64 bits version and I don't see many differences with my 32 bits version on Windows. Thank you for your help.

64-bit programs generally use more memory than 32-bit programs for the same tasks, but they also allow you to take advantage of more memory if you are running into memory limitations in the 32-bit version. I don't know if there is a significant performance difference any more. Back when the 32-bit version had to be backwards compatible for XP, there probably was a noticeable difference.
By the way, if you plan to experiment, please see this article: How to switch from 32-bit to 64-bit Firefox.
