Crash Report Submit ID: bp-55a41777-dd36-4f59-96bb-824252160913

I cannot find anything related to a specific issue in the crash details, and have only found other people stating to upgrade to 48.0.2 in the responses to people having the same issue and that resolves. We have also confirmed that upgrading to version 48.0.2 resolves this, but this is not ideal considering we do have 45.0.2 for a reason and there is quite a bit involved in upgrading our enterprise.

We hope to find the root cause of this rapid failure of 45.0.2 across our domain and resolve that rather than suggesting an upgrade to resolved this.

hi jamin6900, can you switch to the latest supported 45.3.0esr release which reportedly is unaffected by this norton signature update induced crash? https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/organizations/all/

if that isn't an option for you either then you should get in contact with norton's support to inquire when and how they plan to provide a fix for this situation or else roll back the latest intrusion prevention signature updates which also helps according to some reports: http://www.symantec.com/connect/forums/firefox-problem-after-sep-update
