"Error with POP3 mail server...imap responded" I have no clue what to do. I need help. Thanks
Whenever I check my emails I receive this message "Error with account blah, blah, blah, An error occurred with the POP3 mail server, imap.gmail.com responded. When I try to change the POP to IMAP I get a message saying "an account with this name already exists, please enter a different account name. I have no clue what needs to be done. It is plain that I should not be fooling with this stuff when I do not know what I am doing. I need some help for sure. Thanks.

You have set up an account to use POP but have in some way managed to get it to connect to an IMAP server. Change the port to 995. I think yours is set to 993.

Zenos, I know where I am supposed to change the "port" number as I have seen the place looking for answers on my own, but now I can't get into the "server settings" section as the Account wizard keeps on saying that "an account with this name already exists please enter a different account name. What do you suggest? Thanks.
