I have just added a second email address in my Thunderbird.
I haven't had any problems with Thunderbird prior to adding a second address, but now mail is staying on the server despite there being no tick in the 'Keep' box. I can't find that particular 'Box' for the second account. It's my belief that both addresses are configured for POP. Although I'm not certain... The new address defaulted to IMAP but I think I've changed it... It certainly says POP on the server form. I can't always find the 'Keep' box on the original form either.
So... What should I do to get Thunderbird to remove read emails from the server, I should say that it's both addresses that are staying on the server, although those marked for delete are going.
Poppa.

Then I'd suggest you check your account settings to be sure. Please post your findings.
That's a very unhelpful post.
Do you think I'd not have done that if I knew how to do it. In stead of being so cleaver about it why not explain just how to check.
Right click the account and select setting. The people trying to help are not mind reader's. You have to do your part to solve your problem.
What is this ? Crazy corner ?

Certainly. We're trying to confirm your account type. So far you failed to come back with any useful information.
