Hi. I received an email message that contained an invitation to a recurrent event. The sender sent it wrongly, so she sent a new and different one. In the Calendar I have the wrong recurrent daily meeting, but I am not able to delete it.

I've tried to delete with Right Mouse Button | Delete Event, but it does not work. I've tried too showing the Event list (Events & Tasks menu | Find Events ticked), and Right Mouse Button | Delete Event. No luck.

In the Status bar at the bottom, I can see Invitations: 39, and when I click on it, I can see the wrong events listed. When I click on one, two buttons appear with Accept & Decline. Chose Decline, click OK and pops up the classic dialog with 3 options (Edit response | Send response now | Do not send). Chose one of them, and click OK. Next time I click on Invitations: 39 no events list appear, only a message "No unconfirmed invitations found". Clicking one more time on Invitations: 39 shows again the event list.

I also ask a colleague to create and event and send it to me. I was able to delete it without any problem.

Does anyone know how to delete those annoying frozen events?

Regards.

Is this a local calendar just on your own machine or a calendar that you synchronise with a server? If the latter, can you get to it on the server and delete the recurring event there?

Yes, it is a Calendar that I sync with my company server. I have already checked the Calendar through an Outlook Web Access, and unfortunately that event do not appear there.

Are you using the Exchange Calendar add-on? Hunting on the internet for you I found this page: https://kb.wisc.edu/page.php?id=29243 You'll see that it reports exactly the same problem as you have encountered (it's in the table, against 'delete a meeting'). That's with an earlier version of the software, I guess, so this looks like a persistent problem. Maddeningly there is no solution offered! I can only suggest that you try deleting and reinstalling the add-on and/or your calendar. Remember to back up your data first (you can export the events from your calendar for storage). Sorry I can't offer more. Maybe someone else can give better advice, I couldn't find much else on the internet.

Yes, I am using: Exchange EWS Provider 3.4.0-rc1

I can see the bug reported in the URL you mention:

During testing, ran into a bug with a recurring event that prevented me from deleting it from the TB calendar. Attempting to delete it would not do anything, though the event did not show up in any other client (Outlook, OWA, etc). The meeting was created by another organizer, where I first accepted once instance, then accepted all instances.

Thanks for your help!
