How do I magnify a page with firefox so I can read small writing and switch back again? In Explorer 11 it had a place in the bottom right corner. I need it on some e-mails and some web pages so I can see and read it..

New to " FireFox "... Tried reading and checking things and couldn't find where to do this
                                                                                                   Thank You.

Firefox's Zoom controls are on the graphical application menu, the one that appears if you click the "3-bar" button on the right end of the toolbar.

You can move them to the main toolbar if you like -- right-click any part of that row and choose Move to Toolbar.

Alternately, you can use keyboard shortcuts:

  • Ctrl + enlarges
  • Ctrl - reduces
  • Ctrl 0 resets to 100%

There is one significant difference from IE (at least the versions I have used), and that is that Firefox remembers the zoom level on a site-by-site basis. If you want to make a global change for all sites, the easiest way to do that is using an add-on, but give the regular zoom a try and see whether that takes care of it.

You can look at the Default FullZoom Level or NoSquint extension to set a default font size and page zoom on web pages.
