Last week here at my business, my Firefox updated automatically to: 43.0.2. When I went to open Firefox it brought up a message that it was updating and I had to wait. Once Firefox came up I cannot go on any website. All of my saved tabs, load blank pages. Opening a new tab and just typing: www.google.com will bring up a blank page. I restarted the computer a few time. I turned off all add-ons. It just isn't working. How do I remove the 43.0.2 update or is there another update to fix this problem yet? I'm here at my business today and I cannot use Firefox and I need those tabs, bookmarks and passwords. Hopefully someone has the answer to this problem. Once this is fixed, if I can fix it, I want auto updates turned off from here on out. Please let me know how to do that with the fix.

I'm running Windows 7 on this particular computer. Current have to use IE. I might download Chrome to get me through the day.

Thanks! -Jim

hi, please go into the programs section of your system control panel and uninstall nvidia forceware network access manager in case you have that present.

Thanks Philipp,

That worked. I did a little reading and it appears that the "nvidia forceware network access manager" is a firewall for the Nvidia chipsets. I'm guessing that something in the new version of Firefox is incompatible with that. I uninstalled nvidia forceware network access manager, then Firefox worked normal again. I also went into Firefox settings and turned off the automatic updates so that I don't get any more unexpected surprises like that again while I am trying to work.

Thanks again! -Jim
