How can I remove separators from the bookmarks bar?

Chosen solution

It requires precise positioning of the mouse pointer to remove them directly from the Bookmarks Toolbar. It is much easier to do this in the Bookmarks Manager (Library) and open the Bookmarks Toolbar folder.
