Did Refresh. All history, bookmarks, saved passwords etc all missing.
I looked at my profile folder & all these items are there, but the refresh won't let them load. Now what?????

Did Firefox create an "Old Firefox Data" folder on the desktop?
When you refresh/reset Firefox then a new profile is created and some personal data (bookmarks, history, cookies, passwords, form data) is automatically imported. The current profile folder will be moved to an "Old Firefox Data" folder on the desktop. Installed extensions and other customizations (toolbars, prefs) that you have made are lost and need to be redone.
It is possible to recover data from the "Old Firefox Data" folder on the desktop, but be cautious not to copy corrupted files to avoid carrying over problems.
You can recover these files from the Old Firefox Data folder on the desktop to recover some of data from your previous profile.
- bookmarks and history: places.sqlite and the backups in the bookmarkbackups folder
- other SQLite files like cookies.sqlite (Cookies) and formhistory.sqlite (saved form data)
- logins.json and key3.db for the passwords
You can use this button to go to the current Firefox profile folder:
- Help > Troubleshooting Information > Profile Directory: Show Folder (Linux: Open Directory; Mac: Show in Finder)
All those "processes" to recover an old profile folder isn't worth it! I re-created my drop down history, plus saved my passwords, bookmarks, I don't care & library, I can get anything back, that was "lost"! However, I WILL NEVER REFRESH FIREFOX EVER AGAIN!!!! UNTIL, FIREFOX FIXES THIS PROBLEM! PS, I uninstalled & reinstalled Firefox, which was a nightmare to figure out, but I did it. Just, so you know, I'm not inept
