Please see this link as an example of this issue: http://www.travelandleisure.com/slideshows/best-places-to-travel-in-2015

All slide shows on the T + L website, not just this one, also won't advance.

I really enjoyed watching these slide shows, seeing travel ideas, beautiful photos, and learning new information.

But recently, when I clicked on the arrow ">" to view the next slide, nothing happens. The slide does NOT advance to the next image. I tried this with the new Edge browser, and also with Opera and Chrome. Firefox is my default browser.

I just upgraded to Windows 10, but this was also an issue on Windows 8.1. I have the latest versions of all browsers, and of Java and Adobe Shock-wave.

I disabled Kaspersky Dangerous Website Blocker Add-On, version 4.5.1.379 and also turned off Adblock Plus on this website. Those actions did not resolve this issue.

I also wrote to Travel + Leisure, they have not replied. This seems to be a technical web browsing issue. I thought that someone on this forum might be able to help.

I am using an HP ENVY TouchSmart m7-j020dx Notebook PC (ENERGY STAR) and just updated to Windows 10 Home (x64) (build 10240).

Any suggestions on how to resolve this? Is this a web design problem, or a software issue with a missing or obstructing browser app?

Thank you for your help.

Cheers, Ecto

After clicking Begin Slideshow, I click the ">" button and nothing. In the Browser Console, there is a script error:

TypeError: tgxDo.slots[slots[i]] is undefined
in the tgx.js script

That is part of a function in the script named TgxAdBridgeRefreshSlots so it seems advertising-related.

I use the NoScript extension, so I tried unblocking some scripts. The more I allowed, the more loaded. It never ended, and it never worked before I gave up.

As a workaround I noticed I can click the little expander icon in the lower right corner. This calls up a "theater-style" display where the right and left arrows work and the keyboard works.

Does that work for you? It's an extra step but until someone figure it out...

I had previously tried using the expander which displays as a "theater-style" view, but the arrows and keyboard controls are still inactive on my laptop.

The only workaround that I've found, and it is awkward, is to copy and paste the URL and manually advance the slide number, as follows:

http://www.travelandleisure.com/slideshows/best-places-to-travel-in-2015/2

http://www.travelandleisure.com/slideshows/best-places-to-travel-in-2015/3 .... etc.

You've given me some ideas when you mentioned the script. I'm now sure that the issue began when I upgraded from Kaspersky PURE 3.0 to Kaspersky Total Security, so the solution must involve adding an exclusion to that program, or temporarily disabling a blocking function. I'll follow up on that idea and report back here later. Thanks for your reply.
