Random ads keep popping up but there aren't any unusual extensions or add-ons????
Okay, so basically when I use websites certain words are underlined in green and link to ridiculous ads and when I double click sometimes it leads to random Ad pages and I'm like ????? And it's only started recently so I've removed everything possibly related to ads and things I don't use so I don't understand why it hasn't gone away yet.

Hi, I'm afraid it sounds as if malware has got in, so please have a work through Troubleshoot Firefox issues caused by malware. You may also find this article useful.
Hope that helps resolve your problem.
Sounds like Malware on your PC.
Sometimes a problem with Firefox may be a result of malware installed on your computer, that you may not be aware of.
You can try these free programs to scan for malware, which work with your existing antivirus software:
- Microsoft Safety Scanner
- MalwareBytes' Anti-Malware
- Anti-Rootkit Utility - TDSSKiller
- AdwCleaner (for more info, see this alternate AdwCleaner download page)
- Hitman Pro
- ESET Online Scanner
Microsoft Security Essentials is a good permanent antivirus for Windows 7/Vista/XP if you don't already have one. Windows 8 has antivirus built-in already.
Further information can be found in the Troubleshoot Firefox issues caused by malware article.
