so why is there no firefox UK option available on the updates
so i have just had to download and install a new copy of firefox so that the searchbar will work with UK websites and not automatically give me US options--with prices in $ and the shipping costs--when i want the prices in £, which for SOME reason the original copy would NOT allow--nor does it allow you to got to the website and "simply" add it as mozilla SAYS it will. do i need to do this EVERY time i get an update, or will the update automatically update the UK version of firefox? and why did i not have the UK option when i ORIGINALLY downloaded firefox?
Chosen solution
Most of my Firefox installs are the UK version, and yes once you have that it will upgrade correctly.
The UK version at present uses Google as the default search engine, whereas the US version is likely to use Yahoo. Most search engines allow a region or locale to be selected.
The getfirefox.com option may offer the correct version,
and if not it should offer other languages and that will then take you to the page linked in the last post above: https://www.mozilla.org/firefox/all/

You always have the option: https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/all/

P.S. Firefox may be set to upgrade automatically, that is wise and does not require you to choose a specific language, or do other anything other than maybe restarting Firefox
You may choose and customise search options
