Hello,

I am migrating to a new computer. I've read the support pages that describe how to migrate a Thunderbird profile from one computer to another. However, I am encountering difficulties. After I copy my profile data to the new location, Thunderbird sees my account information (email address, server settings, etc.), but it's not showing the folders and email that were in my old PC. I'm certain that I backed up the correct data. Has anybody encountered this before? Any ideas?

Thanks, Greg

Thank you for the suggestion Gnospen. It appeared that everything was there, but it's possible that something in my backup was corrupt. I copied everything from the source machine again, and it's working now. I'm not sure what the issue was, but everything seems to be good now. Thanks again!

I should add that I'm using POP mode, and that the "default" folders do appear. It's my folders and email from the old computer that don't. I installed Thunderbird 31.5 and use enigmail 1.7.2.

You still have your backup? (close Tbird) Open your profile and check in MAIL if your local folders are there? I assume you know how Delete all .msf files restart Tbird

Your Enigmail, is all of it there? https://enigmail.net/documentation/
