Sending of password for user [email protected] did not succeed. Mail server pop3.frontier.com responded: [AUTH] (#MBR1212) Incorrect username or password
It keeps asking me for my password
It says Login to server pop3.frontier.com failed. but it won't let me change the password and won't let me check for new e-mails
Chosen solution
You should probably check with your email provider for this one. Their server is responding with an error and Thunderbird is just relaying that message (incorrect username or password).
This could be caused by an actual incorrect username/password (sometimes a username is a full email address, sometimes not), incorrect encryption settings, incorrect port settings, a disabled account, or any number of issues that can only be resolved by speaking to your tech support for Frontier (I assume that's your provider). Only they would know the correct configuration and should be able to help you reconfigure Thunderbird to communicate with their servers effectively.
