OS 7 Home edition Browser repeatedly locks up - preventing any further access to internet sites if computer is left unattended for more than 8 minutes. The only way I can access the internet w/FF is to close down FF and re-start.

However, while FF is locked-up I can use another browser and access the internet without worrying about this problem occurring.

I tried to re-set the default settings re: McAfee Security Pkg to no avail.

I like FF but this problem has become so annoying that opting for another browser seems like the only practical thing to do. Can anyone help?

I have left Firefox unattended for hours at a time without a problem.
