The tab at the top of the page flashes "redirecting" multiple times, then I get the broken robot saying "Invalid Request". Gmail, Sites, & Groups work fine. I have tried turning off Block pop-up windows and in "Warn me when sites try to install add-ons" I made an exception for Google Drive, which opens fine on my old Safari browser. Anyone else had this happen?

I'm running Mac OS X 10.6.8.

It didn't work for me. I finally downloaded Google Chrome, which I haven't wanted to do but it solved my problem. Thanks for your suggestions. Maybe it will help someone else.
