does it have a virus in it? I wound up getting a terrible malware called myosprotect. it has taken me several days to get this malware off my PC. Finally i was able to get firefox running and bluehell firewall was removed. not saying it caused the issue but...seems odd.

Bluhell Firewall shouldn't have caused the issue. I have used Bluhell before and it worked fine. If it was indeed infected, Mozilla would've pulled it immediately once they got word of it and we would also see some bad reviews on the add-ons home page.

ok, thanks. i appreciate the reply. i liked bluehell firewall and it did seem to work. stopped a few things a couple of times. i'll find it again and put it back on. perhaps when i finally got that malware off (myosprotect) it just simply disappeared (bluehell firewall). that myosprotect is a nasty thing and i have no idea where it came from. there are still some residuals in my registry. spyhunter found it but would not delete the thing until i bought their program. used malwarebytes free trial and it removed most of it but left those other parts in the registry. again, thanks for the reply.
