a) Export them to CSV in the googlemail web page, then import this file into Thunderbird's Address Book. Take care to align the data fields. b) Use an add-on such as Google Contacts or gContactSync to create a live link. I refer the latter add-on; both have to contend with a fundamental mismatch in the way googlemail and thunderbird handle street addresses. This synchronizing approach is much the better way if you are trying to keep multiple address books in synch.
