How can I extend Integrated PDF viewer of Firefox (or Adobe PDF plug-in) in order to extend saving or downloading propriety?

I need, from the viewing of pdf file, to save the pdf in a specific directory of the server. So for example I could change the propriety of the actual botton for saving the file or add another botton in order to giving pdf contents data to the server.

It is possible with the PDF viewer of Firefox? Where can I find Technical Documentation of the Integrated PDF viewer?
