Hello jablka, Try the Firefox Safe Mode to see how it works there. The Safe Mode is a troubleshooting mode, which disables most add-ons.
(If you're not using it, switch to the Default theme.)
- You can open the Firefox 4.0+ Safe Mode by holding the Shift key when you use the Firefox desktop or Start menu shortcut.
- Or use the Help menu item and click on the Restart with Add-ons Disabled... menu item while Firefox is running.
Don't select anything right now, just use "'Start in Safe Mode" To exit the Firefox Safe Mode, just close Firefox and wait a few seconds before using the Firefox shortcut (without the Shift key) to open it again. If it is good in the Firefox Safe Mode, your problem is probably caused by an extension, and you need to figure out which one.
Please follow the Troubleshoot extensions, themes and hardware acceleration issues to solve common Firefox problems article for that.
When you figure out what's causing your issues, please let us know. It might help other users who have the same problem.
thank you
I'm having this happen too ever since FF19. But it only happens sometimes after browsing for a while, and I can't find any specific action that prompts it.
It may be an addon, but like right now it hasn't happened in an hour even with them all on, so testing it would be a pain.
Interesting note: when it happens, it affects all open tabs. But opening a new window will fix the problem, EVEN in the old window that's still open.

Hi, I guess, maybe a MENU EDITOR 1.2.7. Add-on is causing this ?, I currently disabled it. so will see, what happens, I will let you know...

Hm, I don't have that. The only addons I have that specifically modify the right click menu (or, at least, those that are currently doing so) are:
AdBlock Plus
Customizations for AdBlock Plus (removes the right-click entry ABP puts there)
Image Search Options
Scrapbook

I have a similar problem. Win7/64-bit/16GB
Problem appeared after installation of Firefox V19. Was ok yesterday, the 18th.
Now, URL sub menus disappear after adding a new link.
I suspect browser is not refreshing or something like that.
Here's temp work around until Mozilla fixes it:
Close Firefox, reopen Firefox

UPDATE:
3-4-2013
Got desperate. This problem has morphed into allowing me to see or use any given sub-directory URL for 2-3 tries. Then all the URL(s) in the working folder I just accessed disappear. The all reappear correctly after I close and reopen Firefox V19.
So I deleted V19 and replaced it with V18.2. Problem is gone. Soon, I will delete V18.2 and replace it with V19. We will see which version is stable :) Still, I use the program all the time
UPDATE 3-13-2013
I updated to Firefox V19.0.2. Problem seemed to go away. On Friday 3-15, the problem reappeared - exactly as before. After 2 or 3 accesses to the same URL, the sub-directory holding the URLS disappears. Closing the browser resets Firefox back to normal. The problem is repeatable. I have reinstalled Firefox V18.2.
After much thought, I installed CHROME. I like the flexibility of Firefox but not the hassle of reloading the browser every few days.
I will wait until the next version of Firefox and then update. If the problem has not been addressed by then, I will move links, delete Firefox and move permanently to CHROME.
To the Firefox programming team: are you listening?
PS I tried using the PDF reader function now incorporated into Firefox. Nice try, but no cigar. I reset the preferences to ADOBE READER.
FYI - for what it's worth: I do NOT have "Menu Editor Add-on".

The new Firefox 19 is NOT compatible with Menu Editor 1.2.7. If you have this add-on when you upgrade to Firefox 19 as I have just done, then when you right click your mouse, the menu will be blank or only work intermittently. I have had to disable the menu editor for now which is so annoying as I use it to get rid of the 'open new tab' button because I hate tabs. Can this problem be fixed :o(
Update: Until this is fixed I have gone back to previous version FF as I can't live with new tab being at top of my menu.

I had a similar issue but my menu would appear inside of another menu making it impossible to read, the way a picture in picture tv appears.
It was odd but was fixed by disabling hardware acceleration upon testing it out it seems the gpu drivers may have been interfering with the newest update to firefox. Wouldn't of known without your question! So thank you bunches :)
I do not have the Menu Editor add on, so that clearly is not my issue. I have turned off the persona theme and will see if that makes a difference. This issue only happens intermittently, and started immediately after upgrading to FF19 which otherwise has had a relatively trouble-free break in period. If this doesn't help I will try disabling the hardware accelerator next, since that was a relatively recent change.
I've got neither Menu Editor nor HW acceleration turned on and it's still happening for me. Problem is it only happens maybe once a day, and I've got dozens of addons, so if it's one of them doing it...
I use Kaspersky for anti-virus protection. Something called "Kaspersky Anti-Banner" was the thing that caused this for me (i.e., right-click giving a blank menu). I disabled it and Firefox appears to work OK now.....
This started to happen to me after the ver 19 update as well. I get blank menu when i right click on high-lighted text, links,or tabs.
I've removed menu editor, and disabled hardware accerlation in option, but the problem persists when I right click on a tab (seems to work fine now with highlighted text and links) I can even replicate this problem in safe-mode....which is really odd
