Is paypal the only way to contribute to Mozilla and/or it's add-on developers.
I want to contribute to an add-on, but I can't open a pay pal account because I use prepaid credit cards.

You could try the link to pay as a "guest" which is a regular credit card charge. Does that work?
If not, you could contact the add-on's author. Perhaps they have some other thoughts about receiving your show of appreciation.
