Sending of password for user [email protected] did not succeed. Mail server inbound.att.net responded: Server error - Please try again later.
I get this message when Thunderbird fails to load messages from Yahoo mail.

Are you using a secure mail key in place of the password? Check that you have the correct settings, create a secure mail key on the AT&T site, remove the passwords from Saved Passwords in TB Preferences/Privacy & Security, restart TB, enter the key when prompted for a password.
