word won't open thunderbird as defaul mail to send a pdf file
When I try to send a word or excel file as a pdf to an email address neither word or excel will recognise thunderbird as being the default email even though it is set as the default app.

I suggest you take up the hard coding of mail clients in Word and excel with Microsoft.
