Moving several email accounts, some POP and some IMAP from my old Mac to a new one
Hi,
I've got a new Apple Mac laptop and want to move all of my emails and settings over to the new machine. I have several email accounts and some are POP, others IMAP - can I easily copy all the information, including inbox, set items, drafts etc, over to the new machine?
I've found guides to do this but most reference using a PC and none mention if there is any issue with dealing POP and IMAP accounts at the same time.
Thanks.

You can copy the entire profile folder, including account settings, POP and IMAP mail, address books, calendars, add-ons etc., between computers. It is most easily done by copying the Thunderbird folder:

Does this video show the right way to do it - this guy makes it look quite simple and I'm wondering if it's different and/or more complicated trying to do what I want to do --
Yes, that's the video that is shown on the Windows version of the link I posted:

Great. Thanks! Do you know if there is a Mac video? It would be very helpful if there was as it's much easier to follow like that.
One that I found, after a quick search, briefly describes moving the profile folder on a mac, but it's better to move the Thunderbird folder.
The process is the same on all operating systems, except different OSs have different locations for the Thunderbird folder.
