Environment: Windows 8.1

I have photo albums set up as file folders, each folder containing multiple .jpg files, named photo(1).jpg photo(2).jpg etc. I can open one of these with Firefox using a link like file:///C:/Album1/photo(57)

I want to be able to move back and forth (like to photo(56), then photo(55) ) using the left and right arrow keys on my keyboard.

There used to be a Firefox extension called Slide Show Viewer (now disabled as a "legacy" extension) that claimed to be able to do this, although I was never able to make it work.

The reason for all this is that I have built an HTML index that lets me get to a particular photo, but I also want to be able to see other photos in the same folder.

Hi, ya I can not find a extension for you due to security issues with them.

I do have a suggestion but.... For me I own a Cannon Camera. It should have come with a disk if you bought it new or can go to the Camera makers website and look up your model they should have some awesome software for download.

Or a simple stand alone from online FastStone Image Viewer http://www.faststone.org/index.htm

Please let us know if this solved your issue or if need further assistance.
