Well I went back to firefox 56.0.2 tonight as 57 and its Bugs, is a BIG disapointment !!

I spent 11 hours this past Tuesday trying to fix the new Firefox 57. As there is a hesitation when scrolling and typing. And the hesitation also happens when clicking on something. ..... From what I have read here Im not the only one this is happening to.

  What a Bummer.  so tonight I went back to Firefox 56.0.2   and that works fine.   I hope Mozilla finds a Fix for this problem and soon.

hi, thank you for reporting this problem. can you please test if the following steps can fix the performance issue you're seeing in firefox 57?: enter about:config into the firefox address bar (confirm the info message in case it shows up) & search for the preference named accessibility.force_disabled. double-click it, change its value to 1 and restart firefox once.

then please let us know how this goes?

Thanks for the prompt response. Yes that fixed my problem. Something so simple was causing me So Much Grief . I hope others see this and fix there problems. Thanks again Philipp.  :)
