How do I designate/undesignate Firefox browser to run as administrator?
I got a message that an installed program which interfaces with Firefox won't run properly because I have designated Firefox to run as administrator. I'm instructed to change this, but I can't find the place to do so. I just know I did not do anything to designate it as such, and the installed program has always worked fine previously.
I am running Windows 10 and Firefox 54.0.1 (32 bit)

Hi, I don't have Win10 on at the moment, but in Win7 you can find Mozilla Firefox in the Start Menu and right click it as above - hopefully similar in Win10.
In Win10, to place the Firefox shortcut icon on the Desktop, just find Mozilla Firefox in the Start Menu, then drag it to the Desktop (doing that will not remove it from the Start Menu).

Hi, right click the Desktop icon > Properties - Compatibility tab - Privilege Level.
If your question is resolved by this or another answer, please take a minute to let us know. Thank you!
I don't have a desktop icon for Firefox. Instead, it's pinned to the taskbar. I tried the steps you mentioned, but those options did not appear, I suppose because it's on the taskbar instead of the desktop.
How do I place an icon on the desktop?
