I deleted my account name and Thunderbird is still accepting e-mail. What to do next?

Post your settings, please. Please add the troubleshooting information to your post.

To find the Troubleshooting information:

  • Open Help (or click on three-line-icon and select Help).
  • Choose Troubleshooting Information.
  • Untick the check box "Include account names".
  • Use the button Copy to clipboard to select and copy all the text.
  • Paste this in your post.

I cant open thunderbird becasue I have deleted all accounts. Thunderbird sill accepts e-mails. All I want to do is stop Thunderbird from responding to all e-mails without deleting thunderbird.

If you cannot open Thunderbird how is it accepting messages? That is not possible.
