I have set up Firefox to bring up three specific tabs. THAT just works fine.

But here's the problem: When I open a new Firefox window, those three tabs come up again. That's not what I want. I want another, single page to come up. A blank page would be fine, as well. But I don't want the three tabs coming up fresh every time I press Ctrl-N.

Thanks, this works.

At first, I didn't think so. I had copied my Home Page setting, which had all three URLs separated by vertical lines (|), and only the first one came up. But I replaced the lines with spaces, and it works.

Now I have the shortcut with the three URLs on my Startup folder, and again on my desktop.

You can add the URLs to the target line in the Firefox desktop shortcut if you only want to open these page when you start Firefox. That way you can set the home page to the page you want to open in a new window. Firefox always open the home page if you open a new windows, so if you set multiple home pages then they will all open. Alternatively you could hold down the Shift key and left-click a bookmark on the Bookmarks Toolbar to open this bookmark in a new window.

You need to specify each of the URLs separated by a space or possibly -url. The pipe as delimiter is only used when you specify multiple pages as the home page.
