Email subject lines are out of synch with email content

It seems that the email subject lines are out of synch with the email content for one month's worth of email (June 30 - July 28). For example: The subject line might be 'Mobile Phone Receipt' yet the email content does not include the receipt. It's an email from a friend. That's what I mean by out of synch. Some of the emails are now blank yet I could read them last week.

Perhaps I'll have to go to my backup online and download all the emails. But... how do I stop this from happening again? Is there a maximum number of emails we can have in our inbox or saved in folders before the program stops working correctly?

Do you Compact often? If not, make a back-up first.

Then try this:

Right-click the affected folder. Select Properties, then Repair Folder. Wait…it's not too obvious when it's finished.
