Windows Media Player Plugin Extension on Firefox 21.0 doesn't work
The Windows Media Player Extension for Firefox plugin doesn't work on Firefox 21.0 I've uninstalled and installed it again but it not appears on Complements page even. Please make WMP extension work on Firefox again, use IE only to listen WMP streamings it's sick. =(

Launch Windows Explorer with administrator rights (right click / Run as administrator). This is important, because otherwise you do not have write access.
Navigate to C: \ Program Files \ Mozilla Firefox (note for spanish: C: \ archivos de programa \ Mozilla Firefox si es en español)
or
C: \ Program Files (x86) \ Mozilla Firefox.
Copy after right-clicking the "plugins" folder. Now open the "browser" folder and paste the plugins folder. Restart Firefox, then the plugin should work again.
works perfect for me.

Hi Alissonpc2,
I understand from your message that you are having difficulties listening to Windows Media Player steamings since updating Firefox. It appears that the WMP add-on may not be compatible with the newest version of Firefox.
Please refer to the following article to re-enable the add-on:
Please let us know if this solves your problem, or if you have any more questions.
Thanks!!

Hello rjbd
Unfortunatelly nothing of this page help because, as I said, WMP Extension plugin is installed but Firefox 21.0 doesn't "see it" on Complements page. It's like the plugin isn't installed. Firefox 21.0 "is blind" about it.
Please look the images below, will help me to explanate the problem/bug.
WMP Extension is installed... http://imageshack.us/a/img4/1094/screen1rwe.jpg
...but where is it? http://imageshack.us/a/img14/3657/screen2ci.jpg
So the problem keeps. Please look if I can make someone or this is officially a bug on Firefox 21.0 that MUST be solved. As I said, it's creepy look the pages that has WMP streaming and I had to copy the site to Internet Explorer for it works.
Still need help for this.
I'm sending the Integrity Report and Suport Data if could help you.

Hi alissonpc2,
I tested the Windows Media Player plugin on a Windows 7 machine running Firefox 21.0, and I was able to stream a Windows Media Player video normally. Can you please test the following video and tell us how how the video plays and if there are any error messages? Please click under "Windows Media" on the following link:
Please, also let us know what is the link of the page you are having troubles streaming a video of.
Having said that, I was able to replicate the behavior that you describe:
- The Windows Media Player Plugin shows up on the Windows Control Panel, but not on the Firefox Plugins page.
I am unsure if this is expected behavior for this plugin or not. I say this because the installation appears to have been done outside of Firefox. I will forward this issue to someone who may be able to help and explain this behavior better than me. =)
Thanks!!
- Ralph
