Private Browsing: IS NOT Improved. Previously on v19 i opened a private session, now i can only open a private window. When i click on links on other applications i want the links to open in the private window. But they DONT, even if the private window is the only open window. instead Firefox starts itself in "normal" browsing mode, and hence the wanted private link is no longer private. This is NOT an improvement from previous versions - it is a degraded Firefox. I would like to downgrade to version 19 until this is solved. How do i downgrade to version 19? (i.e. where can i download the full installer for version 19?) The remainder of questions are about private sessions in version 20. How do i solve this? How do i open a private session? How do i make links open up in the private window during the session? Thanks

You shouldn't downgrade to Firefox 19, several critical security holes have been fixed in Firefox 20 that are still open in Firefox 19.

As for the private browsing, if you open a new private browsing window, then close your non-private window, won't links open in the private window?

If Firefox is already open then you can drag the link in a Private Browsing mode window instead of double-click the link.

Otherwise this may not be possible.

I did close the "public" window and kept private window open. But when i clicked links in other apps (no link to drag into the window) then Firefox opened a new public session.

So there is no way to open a private session :(

Guess i better try out Chrome or some other browser until i can use private sessions in Firefox again. :(

But i'd rather go back to version 19 never mind "holes". How do i downgrade?
