I upgraded to Firefox 9.0.1 last night. Now I am getting this error when I launch Firefox.

load: TypeError: Components.classes['@checkpoint.com/XPCOMTrustCheckerMozilla/TrustCheckerMozilla;1'] is undefined

This happens when I first launch Firefox. I click Okay to get past the error and it comes up without an issue. Within Firefox I get the error when trying to open a live stream window for example a radio station website.

This does not happen in IE. I changed my home page in Firefox and still got the error. I tried running Firefox in Safe Mode, but it restarts Firefox with the same open tabs (and even the streaming window) rather than closing it completely. I did not get the error in safe mode, but it may be due to Firefox not fully shutting down.

That error is from your Zone Alarm toolbar. Post your question on the Zone Alarm forum for the best answer to resolve the problem -- be sure to tell them that you also have AVG installed.
