I'm using Firefox 6.0 Mozilla Firefox for Ubuntu canonical - 1.0 on Ubuntu 10.04 and the HTML5 placeholder attribute for input fields isn't working. The placeholder text is not cleared on focus and it gets submitted when the form is submitted. This wasn't doing this with FF5 and I've tested it on FF6 in Windows and the problem seems to be specific to the Ubuntu build. I've tried it with all add-ons disabled and it still does it.

I'm using '''Firefox 6.0''' Mozilla Firefox for Ubuntu canonical - 1.0 on Ubuntu 10.04 and the '''HTML5 placeholder''' attribute for input fields isn't working. The placeholder text is not cleared on focus and it gets submitted when the form is submitted. This wasn't doing this with FF5 and I've tested it on FF6 in Windows and the problem seems to be specific to the Ubuntu build. I've tried it with all add-ons disabled and it still does it.

Please disregard this. Not sure why after having already tried it a few times, but after restarting Firefox yet again, it is working fine now....
