Zoom feature on my wider screen (1920 x 1080) only zooms text and the rest of the page becomes disjointed.
I have a laptop with a wider screen and now the pages show up in a narrow area in the center of the screen. The text is too small to read, but when I use the zoom feature, only the text gets larger and the rest of the page does not. It makes everything disjointed and hard to read and navigate. I did not have this problem with my old laptop which had a smaller screen. I have a 1920 x 1080 screen now. The content is limited to a 6 inch strip in the center of my screen. I have the newest version of Firefox installed.

Press F10 or tap the Alt key to bring up the "Menu Bar" temporarily if the Menu Bar is hidden.
Use "Firefox > Options" instead of "Tools > Options" if the menu bar is hidden.

My issue is not that the menu bar is hidden. I can't get the pages to zoom, just the text, so the text gets bigger and the rest of the page stays the same.
What cor-el is saying is that there is an option to zoom only text on the View > Zoom sub-menu. When the item is checked [X], only text will be zoomed with the CTRL++ keyboard shortcut; when the item is un-checked [ ], the full page will be zoomed with the CTRL++ keyboard shortcut.
A keyboard shortcut to toggle (check or un-check) the "Zoom text only" option is ATL+V+Z+T.
