Hi

Firefox is displaying the useragent wrong. The Platform Token is displayed as 'Windows NT 6.0'. My OS is Windows 7. Other browsers* display it right. I have looked at about:config and filtered for 'general.useragent'. All entries are set to default. The problem is also there when I run Firefox Safe Mode. This wrong useragent causes problems. It takes me to wrong download pages or warns me that I am on a wrong page. Example: This article applies to a different version of Windows than the one you are using. Content in this article may not be relevant to you. Visit the Windows Vista Solution Center. I hope someone can find out what is going on and help me. TIA

Windows 7 should show as "Windows NT 6.1" in the user agent.

Make sure that you do not run Firefox in Vista (Windows NT 6.0) compatibility mode.

You can check that in the "Compatibility" tab in the Properties via the right-click context menu of the Firefox desktop shortcut.
