The google toolbar is on the left - I use it a lot. The homepage button and the reload page button have been moved to the right of the page!? I find I'm doing a lot of moving around which never used to happen when the homepage and reload buttons were customisable and where I wanted them........on the left above the google toolbar. I can't see whether it's possible to move them back over to the left - is this possible?

Right-click on a toolbar and choose Customize. You can then drag and drop the buttons and place them elsewhere on the toolbar. Click Done to complete the process.

Thanks so much Tony - I had tried dragging the icons from right to left but the operation isn't allowed until you are in the Customise Toolbar window as you point out - not immediately obvious I must say.

To continue this discussion, why after moving the icons to the locations I want them Firefox, after opening and closing several times, restores them back to the default locations? I had this problem constantly with the 4 Beta, hence the reason I uninstalled it. Now I am having the same problem with the 4 release. Running Windows 7. My office computer running XP and I don't have this issue.

run_forest_run, this can be caused by a corrupt file, for details on fixing that see https://support.mozilla.com/kb/Toolbar+keeps+resetting
