I just installed FF4. (Dell Inspiron 17R, Win 7)

FF's "Meet the browser" screens say: "When you mouse over a link, a preview of the URL popups at the bottom left side of the page." But I'm seeing it at the bottom right. A minor inconvenience, to be sure. But can anyone tell me why it's happening, and what I can do to fix it?

Thanks in advance. <-----2011-3-25-----MSG----->

That display will move from the lower-left corner of the window to the lower-right corner, when Firefox senses that an important element of the web page might be blocked by that display. If that is happening all the time, I have no idea why that would happen; I hate that "floating" display and use the Status-4-Evar extension to restore a traditional Status bar display on the Add-on bar.

Thanks for the help.

I rebooted later that day, and as far as I can tell, since then the link previews have been appearing consistently in the bottom left, as they ought. Go figure.

I had the same issue on my first run after install. (It always appeared on the right.) On my install, too, it cleared on the next run.
